Please read these terms carefully before using Oasis Family Network services. Last updated: January 1, 2025.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Oasis Family Network services. By booking or using any Oasis Family Network service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Oasis Family Network services, including our website and booking platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all passengers, authorized representatives, healthcare partners, and any other person who uses or accesses our services.
2. Description of Services
Oasis Family Network provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services, including transport to medical appointments, VA facilities, dialysis centers, physical therapy, pediatric care, and assistance with daily errands. Oasis Family Network does not provide emergency medical services. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately.
3. Eligibility & Authorization
Our services are available to individuals who require non-emergency transportation. When booking on behalf of another person (such as a minor, elderly individual, or person with a disability), you represent that you have the legal authority to do so. Passengers requiring insurance or VA coverage must provide valid authorization prior to the scheduled ride. Oasis Family Network reserves the right to decline service to anyone who poses a safety risk to drivers or other passengers.
4. Booking & Cancellations
Rides must be booked in advance via our online booking form or by calling (888) 812-5112. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before a scheduled pickup may result in a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full fare. Oasis Family Network will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any scheduling changes or driver delays. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
5. Rates & Payment
Service rates vary based on distance, vehicle type, and service category. Applicable rates will be provided at the time of booking. Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative billing arrangements have been established with a healthcare partner or insurance provider. We accept major credit cards, cash, and authorized insurance billing. All fees are non-refundable unless Oasis Family Network cancels or fails to complete the service.
6. Passenger Conduct
Passengers are expected to treat drivers and other riders with respect. Oasis Family Network reserves the right to terminate a ride and remove any passenger who exhibits threatening, abusive, or unsafe behavior. Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to vehicles during transport. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in all Oasis Family Network vehicles.
7. Liability Limitations
Oasis Family Network is fully insured and our drivers are background-checked and trained professionals. However, Oasis Family Network is not liable for: (a) personal injury or property damage not resulting from our negligence; (b) losses due to delays caused by third parties, weather, or road conditions; (c) items left in vehicles; or (d) any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific ride giving rise to the claim.
8. Medical Information & HIPAA
Oasis Family Network may collect health-related information necessary to provide appropriate transportation services (e.g., mobility needs, medical appointment type). This information is handled with care and in accordance with applicable laws. We do not sell or share your medical information with third parties except as required to coordinate your care or as required by law. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Accessibility
Oasis Family Network is committed to providing accessible transportation to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles, stretcher transport, and accommodations for passengers with special mobility needs. If you require specific accommodations, please indicate this at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to fulfill all accessibility requests.
10. Modifications to Terms
Oasis Family Network reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Oasis Family Network is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of appropriate jurisdiction.
